# Bueggio HR

> Bueggio HR is radically simple staff leave management software ("Timetastic for Southern Europe") built for small companies in Italy, France and Spain. It replaces spreadsheets and paper forms with a shared wall chart, one-click approvals and country-specific leave rules. Web app at https://www.bueggiohr.eu — available in English, Italian, French and Spanish.

## What it does

- Request → approve → wall chart: employees book time off from their phone, managers approve in one click (from email, Slack or Microsoft Teams, no login needed), and everyone sees who's off on a shared monthly wall chart.
- Allowance tracking: annual allowance with pro-rata for mid-year joiners, per-type yearly counters (remote work, sick leave, business trips…), carry-forward of unused days into the next leave year with optional expiry, and over-allowance warnings.
- Country-specific rules for Southern Europe: Italian ROL / ex-festività hour balances and INPS certificate numbers, French jours ouvrables/ouvrés counting, RTT and jours de fractionnement, Spanish convenios, libre disposición and regional holiday calendars. National public-holiday calendars are importable per country and region.
- Team structure: departments with named approvers, department absence caps (max people away at once), date locks to block bookings on critical periods, and granular wall-chart visibility permissions for privacy.
- Working patterns: configurable working week, per-weekday business hours in the organization's timezone, and half-day bookings.
- Notifications: in-app bell, localized emails, Slack (slash command /bueggio, interactive approvals) and Microsoft Teams; optional daily or weekly absence digests for managers and admins, scheduled per user.
- Calendars: personal and per-department iCal feeds (Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar) plus native push sync to Google Calendar and Outlook via OAuth.
- Reports: per-person allowance table with department filters and CSV export; yearly absence trends.
- Security & GDPR: EU hosting (Frankfurt), minimal data collection, per-user data export, right-to-erasure anonymization, org-wide GDPR export, optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) with org-wide enforcement, sign-in audit log with customer-chosen retention (max 2 years).
- Onboarding: invite by email or CSV bulk import, guided first-steps checklist.
