No app store, no download

Bueggio HR is an installable web app: you add it to your home screen straight from the browser, and from there it behaves like any app — full screen, its own icon, push notifications. And since it's still the website, it keeps itself up to date.

Install it on iPhone and iPad

    Open Safari and go to www.bueggiohr.eu

    Sign in with your account. Important: on iPhone the installation goes through Safari (Chrome for iOS works too, from its share menu).

    Tap the Share button

    The square with the arrow pointing up, at the bottom centre of the screen.

    Choose “Add to Home Screen”

    Scroll the list of actions until you find it, then confirm with Add.

    Open Bueggio HR from its icon

    You'll find the green cloverleaf icon on your home screen. From there the app opens full screen — and that's where you'll enable notifications.

Install it on Android

    Open www.bueggiohr.eu in Chrome

    In a regular tab — installation isn't available in incognito. Sign in with your account.

    Tap “Install” when invited

    Inside the app you'll see a discreet invitation to add it to your home screen. Don't see it? No problem: ⋮ menu top right → Add to Home screen → Install.

    Open Bueggio HR from its icon

    You'll find it on your home screen and in the app drawer, like any installed app.

🔔Turn on push notifications

    Open the app from its home-screen icon

    On iPhone this matters: push notifications only work in the installed app (iOS 16.4 or later), not in Safari.

    Go to Profile → Notifications

    Tap the profile icon in the bottom bar, then the Notifications tab.

    Tap “Enable on this device”

    In the Push notifications card. Your phone asks for permission: allow it, and you're done.

What you'll receive: if you approve your team's requests, a notification for every new request — one tap and you're on the approval page. If you're an employee, the decision on your requests the moment it's made. Enable it on as many devices as you like, and turn it off any time from the same button.

How it works

  • ✓ Same account, same data. The app is the same platform you use on your computer: everything you do on one side shows up on the other, instantly.
  • ✓ Always up to date. No updates to download: open the app and you're always on the latest version.
  • ✓ It needs a connection. Leave data is always live, never a stale copy stored on your phone — if you're offline, the app says so politely.
  • ✓ Same security as the web. Data hosted in the European Union, GDPR by design — and if your company uses two-factor authentication, it applies here too.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't it on the App Store or Google Play?

Because it doesn't need to be: installable web app (PWA) technology delivers the same experience — icon, full screen, notifications — with no middlemen, no 100 MB download, and instant updates for everyone.

I can't find the install option — where is it?

On iPhone make sure you're in Safari and look in the Share menu. On Android, check you're not in an incognito tab, where the browser disables installation.

How do I uninstall it?

Like any app: press and hold the icon and choose remove (iPhone) or uninstall (Android). Your account and your data are untouched.
