Yes, Bueggio HR is built for GDPR compliance from the architecture up: all data is hosted exclusively in European Union data centres and never leaves the EU. We apply data minimisation — we store only names, email addresses and absences: no birth dates, home addresses or phone numbers — we encrypt integration tokens at rest, and we sign a DPA (Data Processing Agreement) with every customer. From the built-in GDPR panel an admin can export the whole organisation's data, or a single employee's, as JSON, and one-click anonymising erasure is available — attachments included: medical certificates are treated as special-category data under GDPR Article 9.

Yes, with no strings attached: cancel in two clicks from settings, with no notice period, no penalties and no exit fees. Before you go, you can export your entire data estate — people, requests, balances and the full approval history — as CSV and JSON, so you can migrate to another tool or simply archive it. After cancellation we permanently erase all your data within 30 days, as required by the GDPR, and we'll confirm the erasure on request. No lock-in: your data is yours, always.
